Fly Talk‘s Kirk Deeter takes the dive and lists his choices for the 12 best states for fly fishing. Number one is Michigan, number twelve is New York. He places his home state of Colorado at number six: “Okay, I’m biased. I live here for a reason. With the largest concentration of fly anglers anywhere in the country and some of the most beautiful rivers in the world, the Centennial state is a fly rodder’s mecca.”
