As an industry and fly fishing community, we have been fighting for over a decade to keep Pebble Mine from devastating Bristol Bay and the fisheries that sustain 14,000 jobs, a $1.5 billion dollar annual economic engine, native communities and a world-class destination to fly fish. On August 24th, the fly fishing community is coming together as one undeniable force in support of Bristol Bay.
We are asking all AFFTA members and industry professionals nationwide to join us for A Day for Bristol Bay on August 24th to raise much-needed funding for the Bristol Bay Defense Fund – a group that is going toe-to-toe in D.C. with the foreign mining interests behind the mine. We urge you to participate!
How do I participate?
Retailers, Manufacturers, Reps, Outfitters/Lodges, Guides, Media…
we need everyone’s support.
To participate, simply click the COUNT ME IN! button below, fill out the form and choose your donation amount.
• We’re asking Retailers for a donation of up to 10% of the day’s total sales/revenue for August 24th.
• For Manufacturers, Reps, Lodges/Outfitters, Guides and Media, we’ve created tiered giving levels for you to select from.
All donations will be made to the AFFTA Fisheries Fund and 100% of the proceeds will be sent on behalf of the fly fishing industry to the Bristol Bay Defense Fund.
How do I promote Day for Bristol Bay?
Getting the word out to the fly fishing community and getting them into our retail shops across the country will be important! Once signed up, we will email all participants the promotional materials needed to get the word out and get people into their local shops on August 24th.

• D4BB logo to place on your site w/link to direct donation page

We’ll also include everyone in press coverage and on our list of participating members so people know where to shop and what brands are supporting D4BB.
