AT Survey: How important are top-shelf fly rods to the overall sales picture of the average fly shop?

Now that we just spent all that energy on a new high-end fly rod (and will have more of that coming as we review other rods heading into IFTD), we have to wonder aloud just how important are top-shelf fly rods to the overall sales picture of the average fly shop. How much do high-end rods really impact your bottom line?
