“Big fly, big fish”.  It’s a rule of thumb known the world over.  No, it’s not always true, but as a general guideline, why not?

Since you’re right in the middle of planning your bonefishing trip for the upcoming winter, you may just be gearing up to do some tying as well.  We thought we’d give you a friendly little reminder – we have big bonefish on South Andros Island, and guess what – they like to eat big flies.

Big flies with long wings and tails, and long rubber legs, and bead chain eyes, and maybe even a bright colored butt on their body.  You know what – the angler above did a pretty darned good job in his late-summer tying sessions!
