Thirty years ago a new apparel category was created called “multifunctional neckwear”, and BUFF® was the brand that started it all. Founded by Joan Rojas of Spain, the product originated as a way to protect the neck and head from the elements while motorcycle riding in the Pyrenees. Joan was in the textile business and nearly perfected the seamless tubular scarf that could be worn 12+ ways.
