Howard Meyerson’s conversion to a steelhead fly fisherman is complete after he’s tutored by guides from the Pere Marquette Lodge.
“Darkness was approaching when a silver torpedo hit my fly hard, ripped some line off my reel and left me standing like a jilted lover wondering what happened. To add insult to injury, the big, chrome fish porpoised twice in the riffle, did backflips and disappeared into the river’s depths.” In the Grand Rapids Press.
