Brian O’Keefe won the distance casting competition at this week’s International Sportsmen’s Exposition in Sacramento, California. But lo and behold 17-year-old Dusty Revel, who came in second by only a few feet in his first competition ever. “Neophytes might perceive fly- fishing as a highbrow activity, too sophisticated for the kind of raw competition that gets drag racers and weightlifters excited.
