Daniel, the miracle beagle who survived an Alabama gas chamber, has found his forever home with a family in Nutley, New Jersey. When the diminutive walked out of the gas chamber last month, the only one of 18 dogs to survive the experience, employees at the Alabama animal-control shelter were stunned, and Daniel's story became part of a national cause to end this method of euthanizing unwanted animals. For the whole story, watch this video and read the article on nj.com. I certainly don't think that this is the last we'll hear about this remarkable dog.
