Fascination
Youth is always open to new things until they are told or shown they shouldn’t be. Whether playing with insects, having boat races in side streams or making necklaces out of leader material, it all counts towards immersion. Don’t waste the opportunity or wait for the next one to get young kids involved in fly fishing even if all it means at the time is investigating everything surrounding it.
