Because over 80 percent of this market is related to trout and salmon, you might find it interesting that in 2017 alone, TU volunteers accounted for 734,824 hours of work (a labor value of over $17,312,000). TU worked on 1,103 different conservation projects throughout the country. It conducted 1,682 education programs focused on youth. And over the past 10 years, TU has spent $92,514,260 on projects that make trout fishing better and the angling community stronger.
