Florida Snook
Florida Gulf Coast snook populations are returning to form after a prolonged winter cold front during 2010 killed thousands of the shallow water game fish. After almost three years of closed seasons, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has voted to re-open the Gulf Coast fall snook season on September 1.
