For Forbes magazine, Monte Burke chronicles the angling life of Paul Volcker, the advisor to presidents and influential regulator who managed to keep fly fishing through some very difficult decades for the U.S. economy.
“When asked if there are any similarities between his financial life and fly fishing, Volcker says he ‘hasn’t made the mental connection.’ But he allows that in both disciplines, one has to have a feel for the natural state and be able to discern any anomalies.”
