Grafham Water and English Trout Stocking

Here’s an interesting historical piece in the London Times on how stocked fisheries changed the angling landscape of England in the 1960s. “Up to the mid-1960s, most trout fishing was where God had made it. The chalk streams of the South were beyond most anglers’ financial reach.
