It doesn’t take long for some new fly rods (and reels) to steal the spotlight. Angler Thayne Morgan and Captain Craig Brewer won the 2010 Gold Cup Tarpon Tournament in Islamorada, Florida on June 24 using prototypes of Hardy‘s new rods, which were design with the help of Andy Mill. Thayne captured the title fishing prototypes of Hardy’s Sintrix Proaxis one piece #11 and #12 fly rods and the Fortuna X4 Big Game fly reel.
