When Joe Pavelski, a star forward on the NHL's San Jose Sharks, awoke from a pre-game nap last Saturday, he noticed a strange dog peering in through his back door. When Pavelski and his chocolate Lab, Lucy, went into the fenced backyard to investigate, Lucy and the strange dog started playing together. Pavelski's wife, Sarah came out and noticed that this new dog looked suspiciously like the one on a "lost dog" flier that the couple's babysitter had brought home the day before. Someone on the street had handed it to her.
