UCLA basketball coach Ben Howland’s passion for practicing the little things may take his team to a national championship this weekend. “‘You have to be detailed … in terms of all the little things that go into throwing a fly, how you mend the line, how you let it float,’ he said during the NCAA Tournament West Regional in San Jose last week. ‘You’re doing it hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times a day.
