The NYCDEP has encountered some issues associated with core drilling for the hydroelectric plant at Cannonsville Reservoir. They will be issuing a public statement shortly and have scheduled a public meeting in Deposit, NY at 10AM tomorrow, Thursday, July 16 at the State Theater to update interested parties. All are welcome to attend. DEP may schedule a second public meeting on Saturday as well. We will keep you posted with any additional information we receive and will post the public statement when it comes out.
