In his latest podcast Tom Rosenbauer talks about sinking lines and sink-tip systems.
“Probably eighty percent of fly fishing is done with floating lines, but there are times when you absolutely have to have a sinking line or some way of getting your fly deeper without putting a weighted fly or a little lead on your leader. Tip Number One: Don’t worry so much about which system you’re using. There are lots of different systems for getting a fly line to sink. And in my opinion it’s overly complicated — you have too many choices.”
