Tom Rosenbauer’s latest podcast touches on what to wear why fly fishing and right- vs. left-handed reeling before delving into the “science” of fishing a new trout stream.
Excerpt: “Here are some guidelines just to get you thinking about what to do when you get to a trout stream that you’ve never fished before. The first thing you should do is look at the rocks. That sounds silly. I don’t mean turning over rocks and looking for bugs. I mean look at the rocks in the valley that hold the stream along the banks.”
