“Cross Current Insurance Group was founded in 2018 because we saw an opportunity to help the companies that form the backbone of the fly fishing industry while using our business as a platform to support the fisheries and conservation efforts that are critical to our clients’ livelihood.
We help guides, outfitters, rod and tackle manufacturers, lodges, resorts, retailers, and non-profits to navigate the waters of insurance buying through innovative insurance products designed by anglers for anglers. (fisherperson just doesn’t sound right!) Every year our clients cast a vote to decide where a percentage of our revenue will be donated, and the more we grow, the more good we can do.
We’re based in Connecticut, but have clients all over North America, including Thomas & Thomas and REC Components, as well as guides and shops from Maine to Washington. Our sales model uses Ambassadors based in other parts of the country to spread the word about our company.
