Retired Navy Capt. Ed Nicholson started Project Healing Waters two years ago after spending time in Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The organization now regularly sends recently wounded vets on fly fishing trips to help their physical and emotional recovery. “The organization has sent about 25 veterans on trips to Montana, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maine.” Paul Dobbyn in the Achorage Daily News.
