The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) recently announced their intentions to build a hydroelectric facility at Cannonsville Reservoir
NYCDEP has scheduled two public information meetings this Friday, December 14:
- 9:00 am, Deposit State Theater, 148 Front St., Deposit, NY
- 12:30 pm, Upper Delaware Council office, 211 Bridge St., Narrowsburg, NY
Please consider attending one of these meetings to learn more about the proposed hydroelectric facility and the potential implications for the Upper Delaware River and the people and communities of the tailwaters region.
