Redington has just launched their newly redesigned Web site, which beyond reflecting a year-long rebranding effort by the company features a “Gear Selector” and a “New To Fly?” section meant to help beginner anglers. The Gear Selector helps anglers choose gear based on multiple criteria — what type of water will be fished, what species is being targeted, skill level, and the amount an angler wants to spend. The beginner section covers Fly Fishing Lingo, Spotting Fish, Knot Tying 101, and Casting 101, and includes videos.
“Redington is making a concerted effort to bring the sport of fly fishing to more people, and this new website will help push Redington to the forefront of consumers’ minds,” commented Redington marketing manager Jennifer Gish.
