Salmon Stories…Avery McRae
This little girl tells it as she sees it. So awesome and inspirational to see youth grabbing the torch and running with it. Would expect to see great things from this young lady and look forward to it.
Salmon Stories showcase community members working to protect Salmon. Avery McRae, Eugene 4th grader, encourages all kids looking to help
protect the planet to ‘throw a party’, educate themselves on the issues
that they are interested in, and have fun! Avery was NCAP’s 2014 Rachel
Carson Award winner, honoring individuals who are making an on the
ground difference in their communities and inspiring others to do the
same.
