STORMR Brand Outerwear Intesifying Rapidly on Industry Radar

Posted on July 05 2013

stormrFrom STORMR:

STORMR® brand outerwear was introduced to the fishing world in the fall of 2012. In less than a year, these extreme foul weather tools have become the category leaders and irreplaceable garments for thousands of sportsmen from coast to coast. Looking to build upon this success and the proven technology underlying it, STORMR will introduce new supplements to its existing lines at this month’s ICAST trade show. The company invites interested media and buyers to visit Booth #1173 to get a sense of why sportsmen who value their comfort and safety are raving about these products.

STORMR’s products bring to land-based and amphibious activities its proprietary Neoprene Core Technology™. This technology was adapted from the benefits gained by neoprene wetsuits used by generations of scuba divers while fighting the elements. STORMR is owned by Henderson Sport Group, which has manufactured neoprene products for half a century and understands the material’s unique abilities. The resulting gear provides maximum comfort and maneuverability, along with superior thermal benefits in a thin, soft, flexible, windproof and waterproof shell which also provides positive buoyancy. There’s nothing like them on the market today.

Unlike some clothing which is targeted at specific sectors of the outdoor world, STORMR gear is equally at home in recreational fresh and saltwater angling, as well as ice fishing, surf fishing and commercial fishing. Sailors have also embraced it. From Alaska to New England to the Gulf of Mexico, if you have no choice but to be outside in inclement weather, you need to investigate the benefits provided by STORMR’s ability to defy the elements.

This year, at the coldest Bassmaster Classic in history, the two competitors wearing STORMR products didn’t blink an eye at the bitter cold while others had to alter their game plans to deal with 70mph boat rides in freezing temperatures. The next segment of outdoor enthusiasts to benefit from this technology will be waterfowl hunters. In addition to introducing a line specifically targeted at waterfowl hunters, this year STORMR will bring to market a new surf top, a neoprene hoodie, and Kevlar-tipped gloves for use with braided line. Each of these products, like those before them, is aimed at a particular activity or need, yet all of them will serve double- or triple-duty in the field, on the beach, atop the ice, or afloat. The possibilities are limitless.
