Stuffits – Fighting Foot Odor

Today we cover one of the less glamorous elements of living at a fly fishing lodge!

At Alaska West we live in close quarters.  We have to deal with each other’s weird habits, quirks, and smells. Being on the water all day, or working in camp, causes weird smelling waders and boots.

One great way to fight foot odor is to use Stuffitts shoe inserts. Stuffitts are foot shaped neoprene inserts that are filled with cedar chips.  They not only help keep your boots dry, which helps fight odors, but the cedar also adds a pleasing smell.
