Randall Sumner talks about the PMD (Pale Morning Dun) hatch that drove him and a friend into a frenzy on Washington’s Yakima River last spring. “The other great thing about a PMD hatch is that it is very time consistent. It starts about 10 minutes later each day until conditions change and it’s gone. It’s civilized fishing and frankly very easy, size 14 PMD parachutes cast to gorging happy trout.” In the Seattle Times.
