The Delaware River Basin Conservation Act is introduced in the U.S. House & Senate

TRENTON, NJ – The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed commends Senator Tom Carper and Congressman John Carney for their outstanding leadership in sponsoring the Delaware River Basin Conservation Act (DRBCA), which was re-introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate today. Through its non-regulatory approach, the DRBCA will enhance collaboration on conservation efforts across the four Basin states and increase resources for on-the-ground projects. “Today is a great day for the Delaware River Basin,” said Kim Beidler, Director of the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed. “The DRBCA will help ensure that the region’s most pressing protection and restoration needs are addressed and also affirms that the Basin is a nationally significant resource.”  : Read full press release
