South Andros Island is a really authentic, rural place. There are no cruise ships or casinos here.
Sorry, the shopping is pretty limited unless you’re looking for locally grown produce. Nope, we don’t do mud baths. The surfing isn’t great, the taxis take a while and the cuisine is pretty well limited to fresh seafood, chicken and ribs, South Andros style.
On the other hand, the bonefishing is off the charts, and the local culture is the real deal.
Some of our guides lead a Junkanoo drum band. They keep the younger generations involved. They play on the beach at the lodge. It’s pretty awesome.
