Three Films Chronicle Bristol Bay Mine Impact

Posted on February 02 2008

Beyond giving the average citizen a chance to get a closeup view of the incredible ecosystem surrounding the proposed Pebble Mine in Alaska, filmmakers are having a real impact on the debate: showing all sides of the argument, and explaining in powerful terms what might happen if the mine goes through. As Kyle Von Bose writes in The Bristol Bay Times, three important films are now either in production or about to be released. “‘Equilibrium,’ ‘River Poets’ and the trailer for ‘Red Gold’ will be shown in Anchorage at the Fly Fishing Film Tour Feb. 7 and 8 at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center. Tour information and dates can be found online at www.aegmedia.com.”
