Timothy Egan’s “Frankenfish Phobia”

In this morning’s New York Times, Timothy Egan says he is not “reflexively afraid to live better through chemistry,” but the approach of the AquAdvantage Salmon to market has him thinking twice.

“Wild salmon require so much work: they need clean water, a bountiful ocean and restraint to ensure that they aren’t fished out of existence. Vigilance, and a small amount of sacrifice — what a drag.” (Thanks to reader Jon Conner for this link.)
