Posted on March 17 2016

  • The American Museum of Fly Fishing has announced that Ted Turner will receive the 2016 Heritage Award. “Mr. Turner has become a force in preserving our national heritage through his extraordinary efforts in restoration and conservation,” says Karen Kaplan, President of the Board of Trustees. “His sense of environmental stewardship arose from his love for fly fishing, a unique sport that as connects much more than man to fish.” The Heritage Award event will be held May 12, 2016 at the museum in Manchester, Vermont.
