Train Derailment on the West Branch of the Upper Delaware River – Update #5
We just received reports of new odors and fuel sheens on the river. According to one train derailment clean up official, there has been an additional 200-400 gallons of diesel fuel spilled into the river during the clean-up process.
If you see evidence of diesel fuel on or near the river or injury to wildlife please take pictures/gps coordinates and send to info@fudr.org.
We will keep you posted as we learn more.
