Weather.com recently unveiled the beta of a cool interactive map based on Microsoft’s upgraded Virtual Earth service. The map shows real-time precipation in either satellite or road-map views — pretty handy for lots of uses, including figuring out whether to pack the fly-weight shell or the vulcanized rubber.
