I bet my morning commute was better than yours this morning...even if I didn't find the largemouth bass that I was looking for. Still it was far better than battling the morning rush to get to the office.
Even after living here for ten years I still haven't cracked the code on the family pond. I can count on one hand the number of really large bass I've caught here. The water is ultra clear, there is a ton of structure, and the fish are just picky as hell.
Of course there is always next time.
