Bill May discovers that anglers who swing wet flies spend less time changing flies and more time fishing. He offers a few insights from his initiation. “Wet Fly Waterguides fished old-fashioned, winged wet flies, usually two or three flies at a time, and used floating, intermediate sinking and sinktip lines and full sinking lines. Were these guys onto something or was this just one of those historic things like black powder hunting?”
