Winter Has Arrived
Sometimes the seasons sneak up on us, catching us off guard by ushering us into our favorite or most dreaded time of year before we are ready. This year has been no exception as summer held on for so long many of us living in the PNW believed fall would never arrive. When it finally did it was brief and we have found ourselves smack in the middle of winter. Leaves colored and fell without notice for some and by the time we paid attention, everything was frozen. For fly anglers, crisp cold mornings can be serene and thoughtful moments in the day while also being immensely frustrating yet we go back again and again! Welcome winter, looking forward to our next rendezvous.
