Worth the Walk
It was definitely worth the walk.
We’d only been on the trail for a day, but 13 miles and 2,500 feet of elevation
had already passed under our boots. As we crested the last 11,000 ft peak of
the day, the glistening oblong lake was a sight for sore eyes and tired feet. We
strung up our rods and headed to greet the trout awaiting us in Wyoming’s mountain
lakes.
