Wapsi Egg Veil
Makes egg flies look more realistic
Many anglers are finding that the fish in their local streams have become conditioned to seeing rigid, unrealistic egg fly patterns and have learned to avoid them. This is why it is important that the angler make an effort to match the color and appearance of the natural eggs more closely.
Egg Veil is a milky white colored, fine denier, Antron®
yarn that mimics the natural translucency and appearance of a milking egg drifting in the current. It can be used with egg flies of all types but is particularly deadly when paired with the Otter’s Soft Milking Eggs®
. Egg Veil is also useful for parachute posts on small dry flies, spinner wings, and for use on midge pupae fly patterns.
