A lawsuit filed by the Pebble Limited Partnership will temporarily keep the Environmental Protection Agency’s effort to protect Bristol Bay on hold. “We hope this will be addressed as quickly as possible since tens of thousands of Alaskans who depend on Bristol Bay for jobs, income and a way of life continue suffer from the same uncertainty they have had to endure for over a decade now,” said Tim Bristol, manager for Trout Unlimited’s Alaska program.

McCready who will retire later this year. A former PepsiCo executive and CEO of Select Comfort Corporation of Minneapolis, McLaughlin will assume the post July 27.
